First step in reverse engineering of complicated metal parts is to know the kind of material, process, physical and mechanical properties, heat treatment, coating and reason of these choices.

Because of exist no perfect information for working parameters, the new plan is designed by an exact review on main part and by knowing designer goals and marks.


Reverse engineering is followed by:
1- To find dimensions and perform it on first plans and models
2- Metallurgical examinations from the material, structure, phase, properties, heat treatment and coating
3- To compare and analyze founds with working circumstance and to find reasons of first designing parameters on the basis of data and experiments.
4- To design product process and prepare final complete plan
5- To produce parts step by step basis on the final plan
6- Inspection and quality control
